Precious PlayTime Co-Owners Denise Buckner and Shelley Wallace are two busy wives and moms who believe that Precious Playtime is a much needed service in the greater Charlotte area. Considering their shared desire to promote healthy families, the decision to co-own Precious Playtime was a natural fit. The idea of having quality childcare without a contract or commitment provides stay-at-home moms, dads and parents who work from home the opportunity to have a little time out to take care of their needs. Denise and Shelley are committed to providing a safe place where children can play and parents can have peace of mind.

Co-Owner Denise Buckner is the wife of former Carolina Panther Brentson Buckner and the mother of three children ages 9, 6, and 4 years of age. Denise graduated from Clemson University in 1994 with a BS in Ceramic Engineering. Denise was a fulltime Math Teacher for 9th through 12th graders and now has become a business owner. As a working mother Denise began to realize that the old saying, "It takes a village to raise a child" was actually true. "I know as a mother how precious our children are to us. We want to be with them and give them the love and care they need. However there are times when we have to be away from them and it is in those times that we seek out quality childcare that shares our same goals and values. No longer will I have a hassle trying to find a baby sitter for Date Night Out with my husband. This service stretches far beyond daytime hours. It gives us some time in the evening and on weekends to share with our spouses and our friends."
	Co-Owner Shelley Wallace
Co-Owner Shelley Wallace is the wife of Carolina Panther Al Wallace, mother of two young children and long time friend of co-owner Denise Buckner. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a Bachelor's degree in Advertising Design and the University of the District of Columbia with a Master's Degree in Reading Specialization. She gained 7 years of experience as a teacher of reading and art between 1996 and 2003 at which time her husband's career brought the family to Charlotte. As a working Mom full-time childcare was a necessity. Months after moving to Charlotte Shelley discovered the concept of drop-in childcare and found it to be an invaluable resource that granted the time and peace of mind to tend to adult matters while allowing her children an opportunity to develop independence in a fun, nurturing environment. Shelley understands that having time to yourself is healthy; parents deserve precious time away from their children, whether it's to keep doctor's appointments, practice yoga, enjoy a salon experience, have an intimate dinner with a spouse or just have time-out.
